Happy Endings

This Chicago-set sitcom follows the intertwined lives of six young urbanites trying to learn the ropes of adulthood. Through breakups and whatever other curve-balls life throws them, the pals stick together (IMDb).
I started this in the middle of the first season after hearing it playing in the background. It was so hilarious, it drew me in immediately. If you like wacky sitcom antics, Happy Endings is for you.

Frasier

11 seasons, 263 episodes, 22 minutes per
Dr. Frasier Crane moves back to his hometown of Seattle, where he lives with his father, and works as a radio psychiatrist (IMDb).
What can I say about Frasier that hasn't already been said? No, really. This show, its writing and character development is top-notch. Kelsey Grammer and David Hyde Pierce are two of the best on-screen brothers I've watched in some time.

World renowned chef Gordon Ramsay puts aspiring young chefs through rigorous cooking challenges and dinner services at his restaurant in Hollywood, "Hell's Kitchen" (IMDb).
The reason why I chose Hell's Kitchen is because there are a lifetime of episodes for you to watch, the drama is palpable, and watching talented people do their thing is one of my favorite reality show content.

Dr. Sleep

2 hours, 32 minutes
Years following the events of "The Shining," a now-adult Dan Torrance must protect a young girl with similar powers from a cult known as The True Knot, who prey on children with powers to remain immortal (IMDb).
Having read the book and seen both the movie and miniseries, Dr. Sleep was a great next chapter in the story. With modern CGI, you get swept away with the characters. I'll warn you, though, it gets emotional.
Available (as of 3/28/20) on: Amazon Prime ($12.99 buy, $4.99 rent)
Related movies: The Shining, The Shining Miniseries
Pet Sematary

1 hour, 41 minutes

Another Stephen King classic, but this time it's a remake. While it stayed less loyal to the book than the original film, Pet Sematary had some great fake outs and minimal jump scares.
